What is Rabid-Duck?

That Home Page doesn't explain shit! What's your community actually about?
- Much like a circle of friends, our community has varying conversation. We're not limited to a specific topic. Though the community was founded in tech-related topics, the majority of our discussion is casual and shifts frequently.
What kind of people are you?
- As with any internet community, you will only see the side we choose to show. However, our personalities are as varied as our topics. Some are quiet and introverted, some are “bubbly cunts”. In the course of an hour, you might find passionate accounts of recent films and games, disturbingly graphic sexual imagery, religious discussion, and enough inappropriate words to get the community protested by self-important mothers. You know, the kind who band together to “make the internets a safer place for kids?” Yeah. Fuck those bitches.
What's going on with all your weird traditions and inside-jokes?
- That's something to be expected in any community. Some of our unique customs and strange jokes are explained on our wiki page.
I joined your channel, but everybody was idle.
- We do have some dead time. Most of us are Americans and Canadians, living in corresponding time zones. Many of us leave our IRC clients running in the background while we work on other things. Also, several of us are idle for hours or days (or longer) at a stretch. Steady conversation might include two people, or over 10 people discussing multiple topics simultaneously. If you join and nobody greets you, give us a few minutes. We're not ignoring you, we just haven't caught up yet. That said, don't show up acting like an obnoxious slab of cuntbutter. If you decide to join the community for the sole purpose of stirring up shit, you'd be better off going elsewhere.
Why are you guys so mean to that Saria girl?
- She gets off on all the attention. Trust us, we're doing her a favor.

- It's an act. If we actually hate you, you're probably just a worthless person, and it has nothing to do with you being a fag, or a jew, or a whiny shoe-shopping twat (in fact, you might find all three of those in the channel, if you catch them at the right time).
Nobody was talking for a long time, then a bunch of people just exploded into conversation at once, without making much sense.
- Sometimes we play online games together. If chatting isn't available in-game (and sometimes even when it is available), we'll just talk in the channel. You know... “Stop camping, you cheap fucker!” or “Your mom was camping my nuts last night!”
